Employee of the year award!

LFS has been running employee of the month since May this year. The
selection panel consisted of Zina Fahd, Phil Robinson and Steve
Davis. The winners for each month were:

The monthly winners receive a $150 voucher of their choice & the opportunity to present a donation cheque to CanTeen as part of LFS support program.
The Employee of the Year is selected as follows:
1. During December of each year, the Employee of the Month
committee will evaluate the employees selected during the year and
vote for the Employee of the Year.
2. The Employee of the Year will be announced at the
end of the year.
Recognition includes:
1. Travel booking (flights and/or accommodation) to the
value of $700 and an article and photo on the LFS website.
Congratulations Carly on this fantastic achievement and keep up the
great work!
Carly started with LFS on 16/11/2006 as a receptionist. When a vacancy became available in the accounts team she applied and was successful becoming an administration assistant. Carly has since worked her way up to become the accounts team leader for the LFS group globally.
Carly contributes endless time and effort to her role, is a great support to the directors of LFS & a great leader to the team members in her group... a true asset to LFS!

After twelve
successful years of partnership with Ruben and Alex Gomez at LFI in
LA, we have decided to head in different directions. Ruben and Alex
decided that the LFI business would concentrate on retail and USA
domestic trucking services. Thus LFS Logistics will officially open
our third USA office in Los Angeles, California at:

On behalf of all of
the staff at LFS in all countries we would like to thank Ruben and
Alex for their help over the past twelve years and wish them all the
very best for the future.
Our business in the US
will concentrate solely on the Bio Tech/ Life Science market and
will mirror our current structures in Australia, New Zealand
and Singapore.
The USA business is
headed by Mr. Daniel Corbett (our USA Managing Director). Daniel is
based on the East Coast and Mr. Phillip Baxter will head up the West
Coast operation.
LFS Logistics is the name of our USA business and falls under the LFS group banner with offices now throughout Australia, New Zealand, USA & Singapore.

– New member of the LFS Group
LFS has officially opened our new office in Singapore. We have entered a joint venture partnership with Mr Andy Luk (currently the owner of Sky Air - our partners in Hong Kong and China). Andy has dealt with and provided great support to LFS from our date of incorporation in 1994. Mr Johann Er (owner of World Freight Pte Ltd in Singapore) is our other joint venture partner. Johann has successfully run World Freight for over 20 years.
LFS as the majority owner, has taken naming rights and will assume all accounting and back office functions, whilst Johann will provide the leadership and back office operational functions. The sales force will be lead by current sales staff in Australia with assistance from Andy Luk. The company will focus on the core LFS business of the Biotech forwarding with a strong emphasis on 3PL, temperature controlled services and hazardous materials transport & warehousing.
We have recently completed a deal with a global company in the biotechnology sector for full 3PL and supply chain logistics solutions and we are already fielding interest enquiries from both existing customers along with prospects identified.
LFS aim to be the number one provider of logistics services throughout South East Asia for time and temperature sensitive movements and the transport & storage of hazardous material.
